๐ฏ Plan, Don’t Just Dream
Turn your ideas into a simple 1-page trading plan, then use the event calendar to plan when you want to be active โ not just hopeful.
๐ Your 1-Page Trading Plan
Use this as a cheat sheet. If you can’t fit your plan on one page, it’s too complicated.
Step-by-Step
Beginner-Friendly
Copy to your journal
- 1. WhyPurpose: Why are you trading? Extra income, full-time, or learning? Write one sentence you can read on bad days.
- 2. MarketFocus: Which 1โ3 pairs or assets will you trade most? Example: “Main: XAUUSD & EURUSD ยท Backup: BTCUSD only when trend is clear.”
- 3. RiskProtection: Max risk per trade, max risk per day, and max drawdown you will accept. Example: “1% per trade, 3% per day, stop trading if equity drops 10% from peak.”
- 4. SetupEntry rules: What must you see before you click buy/sell? Example: “Only trade in London session, after New York open, with clear break + retest on H1.”
- 5. TimeSession rules: Which session will you focus on? How many hours per day? Example: “2 hours per day: London open only. No late-night revenge trading.”
- 6. ReviewWeekly check-in: Once per week, ask: “Did I follow my plan? If not, why?” โ log your answers in a short journal.
๐ก Pro tip: Print this on one page, or save it as the first note in your trading journal.
